These are my father’s favorite toys. He used to collect these cars as a kid. Every year there is a tradition in my family where he gives everyone of his children one. I come from many different nationalities and we have a few items from my grandparents. But these are really some of the few things I travel all the time with. I really haven’t had a home in four years because of travelling. I keep few things and travel lightly.

What’s with all the little paper notes in here?
Oh, they are notes from my girlfriend. It’s an old habit we have.
You have a lot of cameras.
Yeah, this was given to me by my grandfather for Christmas. It was his camera that he used during WWII. My grandfather was Russian. It’s the most amazing mechanics. He found it in some box and just gave it to me. If you look at it, it’s super heavy.
That’s so cool. I have a bunch of cameras. My boyfriend finds old cameras for like $10.
That’s the thing! I used to buy Super8s for like $10, but if you pay any more that’s a problem. They either work or they don’t. I love Super8s.
