Your work is socially minded. What do you hope your art brings to light for its viewers? What Role do you think art plays in this political climate?
I mean this is pretty self-explanatory. Art plays a tremendous role in the political climate because art gives a neutral perspective. Art has everything to do with emotion, everything that politics stay away from in order to make these tough decisions. You need that perspective in order to stay sane. That's why art is so important; it helps you cope with certain things you may not be able to change and it gives you hope that you will be able to mobilize and change other things. Either way it gives a certain social awareness and that is what I hope my art brings to the viewers. Social Awareness. You are free to make your own decisions I just hope I made you think a little before you pull the “trigger.”
