But you meet so many models, does your list of inspiration just keep on growing?
It's quite a small list actually. They're great models, they're great actresses, they're great singers, but the ones that capture your mind, like you said perpetually, it's very rare. It's few and far between.
Did you pick each one for a specific sin or was it random?
It was both ways. Kate from the beginning was like I want to be Lust. Lara Stone from the beginning was like I want to be Gluttony. Naomi was always going to be black Pride. And then the others, we took artistic license. Karen was Wrath; she's not a very wrathful person but she's got this amazing red hair. We approached each one from a different angle.
