Central Park Plans

Central Park Plans
Since debuting in the first film version of Romeo and Juliet, Central Park has found itself featured in over 300 films, making it a picture-perfect site for any couple.  Meet your date (or even find a new one!) among the park's twists and turns in an encounter that evokes the 1954 classic It Should Happen to You.  In the film, protagonist Gladys Glover (Judy Holliday), meets romantic interest Peter Sheppard (Jack Lemmon), as she feeds the park's pigeons. As you and your date stroll through the park, take a hint from beloved puppet pair Kermit and Ms. Piggy, who make their way through the park in The Muppets Take Manhattan. Or channel your inner performer as you pass by the Bethesda terrace and fountain, known as the site of Amy Adams and her entourage's epic dance scene in Enchanted. If you're a classic kind of couple, tour Central Park like Judy Garland and Robert Walker did in the 1945 film The Clock. After meeting at Penn Station, Garland's character Alice Mayberry shows Walker around the park, with the duo making a stop at the Central Park Zoo. As you get lost in love - but hopefully not the park itself - feel free to re-enact any of these romantic film moments along the way! [Photos via, via]
