CMJ 2014: 10 New Artists To Catch At This Year's Festival

San Fermin is the brainchild of a Yale graduate and Brooklyn based pianist/songwriter, Ellis Ludwig-Leone. The band is quite unique in the way that there are three singers sharing lead vocalist duties, yet the founder is not one of them. The three singers, Allen Tate, Jess Wolfe, and Holly Laessig, intertwine and swap their voices from line to line in each song. Every verse is written specifically by Ludwig-Leone for that specific artist. Inspired by Ludwig-Leone's classical training (and a playlist of Sufjan Stevens and Dirty Projectors), San Fermin is ready to take the spotlight at CMJ.
