Au Revoir, Much Ado About Nothing
The next night we snuck backstage at The Player's Theatre on MacDougal to snap some shots of the actors preparing for their final sold out show of Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing." Here's Brianna Hurley, who you may know better as burlesque legend Pearls Daily, receiving a closing night gift of vodka. The mood was electric as the tight-knit company prepared not only themselves but the set as well, occasionally bursting into song and choreography from previous productions.
It was easy to convince them to let us creep in their dressing room since the closing night party was going to be at one of our regular spots:
