The Harlem Meer
Everyone is already familiar with the Reservoir and the Lake, but there's a lesser-known 11-acre body of water in the Upper Park called the Harlem Meer (a Dutch word for "lake"), where you can borrow fishing poles for catch-and-release fishing! Check out the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center on the shore of the Meer, an art and nature visitor center that hosts seasonal exhibits and free community programs.
