NY Post Crowns New York's Most Eligible Bachelors For 2010

by Cary Randolph Fuller · January 26, 2010

Just in time for Valentine's Day the New York Post has turned out its latest list of in-demand gentlemen. Fortunately for all you single ladies, not a single one is also featured in OUR list of top ten bachelors!

That means there are now more than twice as many Prince Charmings to choose from. This year it's all about the nightlife impresarios, funny guys, and sons of society.

At the top of the list are Mark Birnbaum and Eugene Remm, kings of the Meatpacking District club scene. (They're featured in tandem! So cute!) These two will make sure you have a good night out, but we're not so sure that all those late nights are healthy for a relationship.

Topper Mortimer, former husband to party queen (and future reality TV star) Tinsley, is now flying solo. For those who like to catch a man when he's on the mend, this one's for you! We hear he frequents Dorrian's Red Hand for Tuesday night karaoke but otherwise avoids the limelight. Still who can say no to a guy named Topper? Swoon.

The man who saved SNL, Andy Samberg first melted our hearts with Dick In a Box back in 2007. He's graduated to film but still takes the stage at 30 Rock every Saturday night - which may not bode well for those who still believe Saturday is traditional date night. On the upside, you may get some backstage time with Andy's frequent fellow funnyman Justin Timberlake. Double the fun!

Ben Leventhal owns a web empire, a puppy named Jane, and, according to the Post, "classically handsome good looks." As founder of Eater.com he's bound to take you to the most fabulous restaurants and cook romantic dinners at home, but unfortunately not even the most beautiful woman in the world can come between a man and his dog. Good luck trying.

Jay Sean crafts the beats that keep you dancing (among them the infectious "Do You Remember"), and he recently set up camp in the oh-so-trendy Financial District. The guy is destined for pop greatness, but we agree with the Post: who wants to fight off groupies all day long? Still this would be a good suitor to brag about to your less fortunate friends.

Rounding out the Post's dozen dream dates are filmmaker Jamie Johnson, pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini, Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, Knicks forward Danilo Gallinari, real estate heir Matthew Moinian, and DJ Cassidy Podell, featured at right in sunny East Hampton.
