Malin and Goetz
For co-founder Andrew Goetz, launching the unmistakable brand Malin and Goetz in Chelsea was "a no brainer." Apparently he and co-founder Matthew Malin live above their flagship store, self described as "the shop keepers above the shop." They love the notion of a family business that serves its community, and the Chelsea location fell into place.
How refreshing is it that there are two men with the last names Malin and Goetz that live in Chelsea who oversee their namesake skincare brand? They truly care about your skin and your experience in their apothecary-inspired space.
My favorite products are the Facial Cleansing Oil (it's a game changer, seriously) and the Peppermint Shampoo.
And a direct quote from Andrew Goetz? "Our rescued pug, Mr. Greenberg is a brand mascot like none other." Honestly, reason enough to give the shop a visit.
