Other details: Last night marked the 5th Annual Changing The World Through Art Gala - honoring Jennifer Raab, President of Hunter College. The Time In Children’s Arts Initiative is an award-winning program for public school children from chronically undeserved communities that helps kids who would never otherwise have access become immersed in a world of art as part of their regular school day. Stacey Bendet (in a gorgeous two-piece Alice and Olivia floral ensemble), Eric Eisner, Jane Power, and Stephen King kicked of the event with a live silent auction featuring art work by James Franco, David Salle, Doug and Mike Starn, Inez & Vinoodh, Wade Guyton, and many others. The evening was spomsored by Pommery champagne, Crème Yvette, Ilegal Mezcal, CityFrame, and Paddle 8. Guests sipped on Pommery champagne and munched on Coda chocolates while bidding on art, mingling, and coming together to celebrate such a worthy cause.
