KAWS, Steve Powers, and More Auction Art Work to Benefit Horticulture Programs at Rikers Island

Where: The Rooftop Garden at the Arsenal in Central Park Other details: At last night's block party, acclaimed pop-culture artists such as KAWS, Todd James and Sue Kwon donated their work to benefit Horticulture programs for incarcerated individuals at Rikers Island. The art work was available to bid on and preview on the website, but most bids were placed at the silent auction. The Arsenal was transformed into a gallery lounge and vibrant rooftop soiree with Dub-L spinning '70s funk and soul. Guests enjoyed cocktails and a buffet dinner while bidding on their favorite pieces throughout the evening.
