Other details: Last night, the Municipal Art Society of New York held their annual gala and presentation of the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Medals for dedication to the organization. The event, held in one of New York City's oldest ballrooms at 583 Park Ave., featured massive floral centerpieces offset by candles as guests arrived for cocktails and hors devours on the second floor balcony overlooking the ballroom. Dinner, dessert, and dancing later took place in the beautiful space. Awards were presented to Bruce Ratner, Executive Chairman, and MaryAnne Gilmartin, President & CEO, Forest City Ratner Companies (FCRC). Vin Cipolla, MAS President, emceed the event, which raised over $1,000,000 to support the organization and its mission to advance holistic urban planning, preservation and design solutions that enhance the quality of life across New York.
