Sirio Maccioni is credited for creating the original Pasta Primavera in 1975, which instantly became a hit in the restaurant. Soon, it seemed like every chef in New York had atleast attempted to copy the dish. The dish we all now know as pasta with vegetables has since been removed from Le Cirque's menu after Maccioni became irritated with all of the unauthentic imposters. Although it's no longer on the menu, they will recreate the dish if requested.
