This West Village restaurant is one of the only places to serve Scottish cuisine in New York. Highlands has the decor of a hunting-lodge clad in tartan. Bringing a taste of Glasgow to the Big Apple, Chef Christopher Rendell has prepared a spread including beef wellington, vegetarian shepherd's pie, haggis, and roasted Scottish ocean trout. To quench your thirst, Highlands has an extensive menu of cocktails, wines, and liquor. They stock over 130 bottles of whiskey, local American craft beers, and imported Scottish ales.
