Jones Wood Foundry

Jones Wood Foundry
The Upper East Side's two year-old British restaurant is named after Jones Wood, a vast track of land north of the Manhattan of the 1800s to which city dwellers retreated for fresh air and outdoor pursuits. The Jones Wood Foundry offers a refreshing retreat from the uninspired restaurants of Yorkville. The restaurant prides itself in serving imported British and European ales. While the entrance is a dark pub area, the back of the Jones Wood Foundry is a delightful sun-filled space with french doors and a garden patio. Head here for: A quick nibble or sit-down meal.  Their delightful "Toast" menu offers tasty small treats like potted crab, kedgeree, and homemade crumpets.
