Miss Lily's

Miss Lily's
Serge Becker's first stab at a Jamaican restaurant not only serves some surprisingly good Caribbean food, but also is home to some of the most beautiful waitresses in the city. We can safely say that anyone who wants to work at Miss Lilly's probably needs to submit head-shots before hand. But what really makes us fall in love with the place is the modern yet authentic Jamaican dishes such as Curry Goat and Oxtail Stew. Few dishes rise above the $25 mark and the ones that do can easily be split between two people (such as the Hellshire Style Fried Whole Snapper for $29). While Miss Lily's is still working on obtaining a liquor license for hard spirits, there is a wide variety of wines and beers to choose from. Though we'd normally go with the popular Caribbean drink Ting which is like a grapefruit Sprite. Miss Lily's 132 West Houston Street  New York, NY 10012 [Photo via]
