Identical Cultural, Religious, or Political Background
It's 2017, 'nuff said. Now, I don't know if a Trump supporter and a Hillary supporter can be soulmates, but dating outside your culture has become widely accepted in today's society, so go for it. It should've never been a thing and it definitely isn't one now (at least for most people). Actually, more children in the U.S. today are being born as a result of mixed race, mixed religion, or mixed ethnicity couples than of couples of the same race, etc. Progress is a beautiful thing.
