A Group Dinner

First slide aside, it's almost never a good idea to arrive late to a birthday dinner, as there's likely a reservation and some silly rule that no one can be seated until the whole party arrives. Unless it's your birthday dinner, it's best to arrive no later than five minutes after the allotted meeting time, lest you run the risk of getting booted from the table and/or having the birthday person angry at you for the rest of the night.
