How (& When) To Be Fashionably Late

If you're one of those people who enjoys full and unencumbered access to the plate of crudité, by all means, be the first person at the cocktail party. If you want to enter into an already buzzing atmosphere, where people have had a few glasses of champagne already and are thus extra screamy when they see you, arrive an hour to an hour and a half after the time on the invite.
