Baghdad: Peace Day Concert
A world away from Times Square, the United Nations and Iraq's Ministry of Culture are hosting a
Peace Day concert in Baghdad. Held at the city's National Theatre, the concert promises performances by Iraqi musician Naseer Shamma, a short film promoting the
Peace One Day initiative, and a number of speakers. The event - the first of its kind - hopes to draw Iraqi youth, artists, and activists together in support for non-violence and peace in the country.
