Iran: Museum Celebrations
Iran's art community is commemorating Peace Day with special museum programming and exhibitions. The
Tehran Peace Museum has spearheaded the effort, which includes a discussion among experts of poet Sa'di on his role as a peace symbol, photography and poster exhibitions, and a collection of calligraphy work by female Iranian artists. The museums' programming will explore peace-related themes such as international cooperation, cultural heritage, and war and conflict.
