Mount Snow Resort, West Dover, VT
The closest Vermont mountain to NYC (about four hours away), Mount Snow offers not only 467 ski-able acres and a 100-acre terrain park, but also offers the entire wooded area within the resort’s boundaries for tree skiing. Plus the brand-new, high-speed lift, called the Bluebird Express, cuts down on your wait time for the 80 trails. Apres ski, jump on a snowmobile to explore the Green Mountain National Forest. There are lots of lodging options right around the mountain.
