Fair Harbor, Fire Island
If all you want to do is lay around on the beach all day, then you will definately want to check our Fair Harbor on Fire Island. You can't bring your car into Fair Harbor, which adds to its community based charm. You have to take a ferry to access the small town from Bay Harbor. There isn't much to do in Fair Harbor other than the beach, but there is a restaurant if you want to grab some food before heading back to the city.
