Demi Moore, known for her strong twitter presence, was caught in a life or death situation early on in 2009 when a teenager in Florida tweeted her with a suicide threat. She retweeted his message,
Demi Moore: "R U rlly asking for help? RT @Mrskutcher i'm about to hang myself from a tree outside my house and end my life."
Twitter followers who saw the message on Demi's wall, including
Nia Vardalos, star of
My Big Fat Greek Wedding, reported the message to Casselberry police and the man was brought to a hospital for psychiatric treatment.
