I AM BIG BIRD
You may have seen the documentary on Elmo last year, but our furry red friend may have to share the spotlight with another notable figure on the block (aka Sesame Street). "I AM BIG BIRD" is the latest in puppet profiles - this feature-length film documents the life of Caroll Spinney, who has been bringing Sesame Street's Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch to life since 1969. With support from OK Go, Michael Buble, and all the friendly neighbors who will tell you how to get to Sesame Street, this project is at the half-way funding point. If you're interested in seeing Big Bird on the big screen, there are a number of donation levels at which to support Copper Pot Pictures, with pledge thank-you gifts ranging from exclusive access to Copper Pot Pictures' private production blog to a private dinner with Spinney.
