Ah, don't let its shiny new name fool you. Stay on Main was originally the infamous Cecil Hotel, the 1927 haunt that inspired last season's American Horror Story. Throughout the decades, the 14-floor fleabag hosted multiple serial killers, including "the Night Stalker" Richard Ramirez, suicides, and murders. It was said to be the last site Elizabeth Short a.k.a. the Black Dahlia, was seen alive and as recently as 2013 was the location of a mysterious death - a 21-year-old tourist was found floating in one of the hotel's water tanks. Just lovely.
