Hawthorne Hotel, Salem, MA
As a former guest, I can at least attest to the Hawthorne Hotel's colonial charm. Thankfully, though, I haven't myself experienced the phantom hands rumored to reach out and touch people in the night, nor have I seen any of the crying ghost children. Located smack dab in the middle of Salem, it's no surprise that restless spirits check in here.
