Madeira School Murder

Hell hath no fury like a headmistress scorned. Back in 1980, the Madeira School for girls, in McLean, Virginia, was rocked when headmistress Jean Harris was found guilty of murdering her ex-lover, Herman Tarnower, a semi-famous cardiologist responsible for the "Scarsdale Diet." After their 14 year relationship ended, Harris drove to his home with .32 caliber revolver, found the lingerie of his receptionist in his bedroom, and completely lost it. And you thought your headmistress was scary.
