Kent's French Teacher Predator
In 2017, a former student at Connecticut's Kent School brought forth a lawsuit claiming that administrators didn't do enough to protect her against sexual abuse in the late '80s. When she was 15, the suit claimed, a married French teacher named Clyde Douglas Fenner (who was around 50 - ew) groomed and manipulated her by sharing personal details about his life, writing her love letters, and taking her on trips off campus. The first time they had "relations" was on the floor of the Kent French Department. When a larger group of authorities learned about the issue, they failed to report it to the authorities. Big.
