It never fails. Every year, around August, we muse romantically about winter—capes, layers, hot lattes. It's all very dreamy until the morning you wake up and realize you are frozen to your bed sheets. The winter weather seems to have hit us early, so it's time to face the lower temps in style. From cashmere scarves to (faux) fur stoles, here are a few of our favorite accessories to keep you looking cool while staying warm this season.
Start the new year right by planning a trip somewhere you wouldn't typically go. It's rewarding to soak in a culture otherwise unfamiliar, to see lands you only could have dreamed of, and to open your mind to new experiences. Instead of the typical travel guide, this year we are bringing you to more exotic locations. Some are old-world favorites, others you may never even have heard of before. All, however, offer the perfect reasons to start using up your air miles this year!

Eat inside the ruins where Julius Caesar died, or eat suspended in a midair pod as your waiter zip lines the food to you.
