Le Bon Marche
How do you say department store in French? Ah well, Le Bon Marche is the only satisfactory answer. Their offerings are as diverse as a bazaar, selling gourmet cheeses and wines alongside perfumes and designer clothes. Les Galeries Lafayette and Printemps are commendable, but Le Bon Marche maintains a smidgen more authenticity, especially when my French friends confirm that they pick up sundries here.
