Nestled in the Marais neighborhood and not too far from the city center, this grassy square and buildings were once home to Victor Hugo and many other aristocratic French citizens. Take a stroll along the covered foyers that line the four sides of the square or do as the French do and grab a bottle of rose and a baguette for some fresh air and people watching. Place des Vosges also sits in the heart of this trendy neighborhood that has some of the best French boutique shopping along the lines of Sandro, Maje, Manoush, Antik Batik, Repetto, and more.
