Galileo

Galileo
The Galileo is a robot for your iPhone. It was engineered to help face time hands-free where your friends can control how they see you by controlling the Galileo from their iPads/iPhones. How it works: you put your iPhone on the Galileo. Your friend tunes in to Face-time with their own iPad/iPhone. They control the motions and rotations of the Galileo, enabling them to see 360 degrees of your surroundings. The tool is also flexible to use as a tripod for cinematographers who want to pan and/or put the Galileo on a rail to make an amateur film with an iPhone. Other ways to use the Galileo is for baby monitoring, remote learning, time lapse photography, and real estate photography to show virtual home tours. The project asked backers for $100,000 to get the prototypes off the ground, but over 5k backers pledged $700,000 to bring Galileo to the market. Click HERE to learn more about the Galileo.
