1. Martha Stewart's Daughter Publishes Tell-All Book. Can you imagine growing up with Martha Stewart as your mom?

A new book by Alexis Stewart pulls back the curtain on a far-from-blissful home life that she compares to growing up "with a glue gun pointed at my head." In "Whateverland: Learning to Live Here," Stewart takes aim at her mother's image. Here's what we learn about Martha Stewart from the book, coming out Oct. 18th:

  • She would pee with the bathroom door open, even if guests were in the house.
  • On Halloween, they would have to turn off all of the lights and pretend they weren't home.
  • If something wasn't done perfectly, it had to be done over.
  • Alexis had to wrap her own Christmas presents.
  • There was never anything to eat in their house.

Alexis is Martha's only child. She seems to be supportive of the tell all. [NYDN]
