Rio Carnival
The Rio Carnival is regarded as the best carnival in the entire world. The celebration is spanned over 4 days, starting on a Saturday and ending on Fat Tuesday. It is always held 40 days before Easter. Carnival is an event to rid oneself of all excesses, as such this event is one of absolute indulgence. Being held in February, the peak summer season in the Southern hemisphere, the already scantily clad Brazilians truly release all inhibitions.
