Saving is smart! Start saving for retirement, or for student loans, or for a future house. But saving up to just do nothing for a while? That just seems silly. Here's a word that all of us with internet access may be all too familiar with: privilege. Having funds enough to take off and disappear from the grid is a privilege, one that not too many of us, at least in this generation, have. Quit the patronizing.
