Who: 4th Annual Broccoli City Festival
What: The 4th annual Broccoli City Festival is returning to Gateway DC Pavilion on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Along with superstar headliners Future and Jhene Aiko, the explosive roster of talent also includes The Internet, Anderson.Paak & The Free Nationals, BJ the Chicago Kid, Sango of the Soulection collective, and more.
Festival attendees can expect to enjoy a unique selection of interactive activations such as a full-service organic juice bar, a pop-up market featuring eco-friendly vendors, fully stocked bars, a live art installation led by No Kings DC, acupuncture and massages, and a restaurant park offering the city's best cuisines. New features include a redesigned venue that will offer an enhanced festival experience.
Since launching on Earth Day in 2013, "BC Fest has showcased the most groundbreaking artists in music and empowered over 20 thousand millennials to become change agents in their community,” said Broccoli City co-founder, Brandon McEachern. “Music is one of the most powerful ways to bring people together, so we’re confident this lineup does just that and look forward to delivering another impactful event.” BC Fest will take place from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., rain or shine.
