Where do you see the Erika Schrieber label in ten years?
ERIKA: My dream is to ultimately have a boutique with my collection in the front, and floor to ceiling glass with production in the back. I want everyone to see what’s going on behind the scenes. Having store and production in the same space allows people to see where their clothes are coming from. Customers would not only be able to talk to me but the seamstresses at work. I think we’ll always do capsule collections. I love smaller collections, but one day I would love to segue into men’s and children’s. Kids need to dress cool.
