Why: On Friday, October 17th, Carlis Sanchez of SCDC Agency and Jessica Hoy of NeuProfile/Ink Blot Army launched the first Blogger Crawl event in Old Town Alexandria this past Friday, October 17th. Twenty of the areas top bloggers gathered together to visit twelve local store locations collecting swag and shopping with a discount at each locale. The Crawl, which was the first of what will be a series in different locations in the DMV region, aimed to promote local businesses and introduce them to leading media mavens to provide greater exposure for their retail boutique. Reston Limo provided a party bus to transport the group through Old Town ending at a finale party at the Shoe Hive complete with Poshbooth pop-up digital photo booth, Skullcandy headphones and an enchanted garden party display by Petite Social. Participating retail locations included BellaCara, Coco Blanca, Hysteria, Current Boutique, Bloomers, Mint Condition, The Shoe Hive, Bishop Boutique, Red Barn Mercantile, She's Unique and 529 Kids Consign.
