Other details: On Thursday, June 26th, DC's Renaissance Hotels celebrated Day of Discover worldwide. The Renaissance DC Downtown and then Renaissance Dupont Circle hosted two spectacular art events in their hotel lobbies. At the Ren DC Downtown, local musician and Washington, DC native, Gideon Grove, performed on a stage centered in the middle of the hotel's atrium style lobby. Listed by Refinery 29 as a “Best Upcoming Artist," Gideon Grove has quickly made a name for himself receiving both local and national attention with the release of his debut record “Wildfires.” Guest enjoyed cocktails from the modern hotel bar and free champagne sponsored by Nicholas Feuillatte. At The Renaissance Dupont Circle, guests were able to unleash their inner artist with the help of ARTJAMZ! Artists were able to enjoy the new sip and paint trend while drinking festive specialty cocktails and fun boozy shakes and smoothies! Tickets for the event included an art canvas, painting materials, smock rental and direction and guidance from the amazing art trained creative staff from the ARTJAMZ company! Both events began around 6pm and lasted til 9pm.
