Other details: On Friday, August 22, Design Army hosted an evening pool party at the Capitol Skyline Hotel to launch “Swim At Your Own Risk,” a capsule collection designed by swimwear pro Karla Colletto and DESIGN ARMY creative director Pum Lefebure. Surrounded by swim models from T.H.E Artist Agency, custom Swim At Your Own Risk cookie pops by Occasions Caterers, and a pool full of inflatable alligators, the event’s 280 guests kicked off the launch of this unique fashion collaboration with specialty drinks, DJ tunes from U.S. Royalty's Paul Thornley, and a screening of the classic movie Jaws. Models posed while guests took in an picturesque late-summer sunset over Corona-ritas, snapped photos in the custom photobooth, and lounged by the glowing pool. Attendees were treated to a special discount at swim retailer Everything But Water, and one lucky winner will take home a Karla Colletto x Design Army sweatshirt through our #KCxDA hashtag contest.
