Other details: This past Saturday, September 20th, Carlis Sanchez of SCDC and Jessica Hoy of NeuProfile hosted the 2nd District Closets shopping event at Secondi Consignment in Dupont Circle. The event invites leading DC bloggers to bring items from their own closets to sell at Secondi while meeting with and styling their loyal online followers. Secondi Consignment served as the perfect hosting space for the event with designer blogger merchandise such as Thakoon, Marc Jacobs, DVF and much more holding court in a special shopping section amid Secondi's incredible offering of affordable designer clothing and accessories such as Balenciaga bags and Stella McCartney frocks. Guests were treated to champagne punch cocktails, a spread of charcuterie and cheeses, small sweet bites in the form of flower tea cookies, and brownies and chocolates. The bloggers and guests also received complimentary hair braiding courtesy of Luigi Parasamo salon. Secondi Consignment, owned by Caitrine Callison is an institution in Washington, DC consigning designer items for over a decade to keep Washingtonians well-heeled and looking fabulous.
