Where: The National Museum Building
Other Details: On Wednesday, July 16th, the who's who of the DC social scene as well as DC foodies and restaurant connoisseurs, came out for the The AT&T Best of Washington Party, an event that is always one of the main highlights of the summer season. Held at the historically beautiful, National Museum Building, the Washingtonian's event sponsored by AT&T, BMW, and Patron, is a winner for sponsors, suppliers, guests, and beneficiaries celebrating the best that the DC restaurant industry has to offer. This year over 60 of the Washingtonian's Best restaurants and renowned chef's came out for the Alice in Wonderland themed event, which transformed the National Museum Building into a playground of illusion and fantasy. Guests were able to mingle with live characters such as the Mad Hatter and Alice, watch beautiful dance performances with live music, take part in activities such as the giant maze and have professional photos taken in Wonderland themed settings. Vendors and sponsors also got into the theme with festive products such as "Eat Me" cupcakes by Sprinkles Cupcakery and "Drink Me" potion drinks provided by Patron. The night began around 6pm and ended at 10pm followed by an after party at Graffiato Restaurant. The sold out event was a specular one for the books.
