Details: On Friday, April 24, Capitol File magazine celebrated with its Spring issue cover star Cecily Strong at Capitol File magazine's annual White House Correspondents' Association Dinner Welcome Reception at the British Ambassador's Residence. Strong, who hosted the 2015 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, wore a Mulberry Carla textured stretch wool dress. Global dignitaries, media powerhouses, celebrities and elected officials joined Capitol File for the event including: Cast members of the hit show, The Walking Dead, Valerie Jarrett, Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter, Dana Bash and Joanna Coles. VIP guests arrived at the British-themed event in Bentley's provided by Bentley Tysons and were greeted with handcrafted cocktails by Diageo. Inside the event the theme continued with an exclusive Mulberry craft bar where guests were able to make personalized leather bracelets as a keepsake. Notable attendees enjoyed Entertainment Software Association's selection of video games: DriveClub, FIFA, and Mario Party 10 as they listened to the musical styling's of DJ Christopher Sealey. Syzygy Events exquisitely designed the décor, which featured florals adorning the picturesque residence by MultiFlor.
