Other details: On Friday, April 24, CNN senior political correspondent Brianna Keiler lead the night as the emcee of the first ever White House Correspondents' Jam! The legendary Rolling Stones keyboardist Chuck Leavell joined five rock bands center stage whose members include some of America's most prominent journalists! The bands included Mark Rozzo's Bambi Kino, Tom Junod's Cousin Billy, David Remnick's The Sequoias, Steve Liesman's The Mooncussers and Brian Dumaine's The Prowlers. The lively affair was hosted in collaboration with Mother Nature Network, a enviro-news site co-founded by Leavell. Other sponsors were the Nature Conservancy and the Southern Company. Towards the end of the evening, HBO Girl's Lena Dunham made a charismatic appearance as she introduced The Sequoias after sharing her humor with the guests. This convivial night was supplemented with two open bars and a stream of savory treats such as juicy skewered Icelandic salmon and beef, as well as perfectly crisped feuilleté au brie. The fabulous ambiance kept the diverse company of guests, ranging from DC political pundits, socialites and musicians, mingling and dancing throughout the night to unforgettable Rock tunes such as never recorded Beetles jams!
