The Upper East Side quite literally met Brooklyn on Sunday as veteran It Girl, philanthropist, filmmaker, and vegan shoe designer Arden Wohl wed revered artist Jonah Freeman in Williamsburg. Only the union of these two New York cool kids could call forth such an eclectic crowd, from art-world bigwigs and indie music icons, to fashion VIPs and socialites.
During the ceremony, held at Weylin, a gorgeous event space that was formerly the Williamsburg Savings Bank, musicians Andrew VanWyngarden and Connan Mockasin performed live, while guests including Nicky Hilton, Lauren Santo Domingo, Hamish Bowles, and Mary Katrantzou looked on. The bride wore a custom gown by Zac Posen (who was also in attendance), though it had all the charm of a vintage number. The magical dinner scene was set by Brrch Floral, and afterwards, the likes of Cory Kennedy, Adam Green, and Dustin Yellin helped the newlyweds party into their life together.
