After sweeping awards season, it seems like everyone’s girl crush was ready to usher in a whole new look.
According to her hairstylist Mark Townsend, the leading lady chopped about eight inches off her lengthy mane, and was willing to go even shorter!
She has never cut her hair this short, it's always been long. She was so excited to do the cut. I was the nervous one! She kept saying, 'I think we should go shorter.'
Lawrence received overwhelming positive reviews in the press, with fellow short-haired starlet Miley Cyrus
tweeting her approval,
"I love JLAW's new hair cut. Short hair, don't care.”
