Naomi Campbell's Fashion For Relief Charity Show: Makeup
INSPIRATION: The makeup looks varied at this show, and included this beautiful Calvin Klein–inspired minimalist look by L.A.-based makeup artist, Emily Oliver.
GET THE LOOK:
1. EYE PREP: "I used Giorgio Armani High Precision Retouch to prep the eyelids."
2. LIPS: "Eve Lom 'Kiss Mix' lip conditioner to set into the model's lips, and to make sure they were silky smooth."
3. EYE SHADOWS: "Using the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette, I used one of the two lightest shades (Venus or Foxy) depending on the model's skin tone to create a wash of color from the base of the lash line all the way up to under the brow bone. I then took the tiniest bit of the taupe/brown (Naked2 or Faint) color, and gently blended it into the crease."
4. EYELINER: "I applied Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Black horizontally. I prefer to lay the felt tip on the lash line and to move inward."
5. MASCARA: "I applied Giorgio Armani Eyes To Kill at the base of the eyelashes, then softly combed through the lashes with a clean mascara wand, blending out to make sure that they looked natural."
6. CONCEALER: "I mixed Make Up For Ever 5 Camouflage Cream Palette in No. 1 with Giorgio Armani High Precision Retouch, and applied it under the model's under-eye area. The trick is to use a little bit and to build until the area is free of dark circles, puffiness, and texture."
7. CHEEKS: "The only product I used was bronzer from Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit in Light to Medium. I like to blend several bronzer colors together (this kit gives you a great variety) to give a more natural and well-rounded cheek finish. I didn't use blush as the look was inspired by Calvin Klein's neutral beauty."
