Camilla Macaulay of Donna Tartt's The Secret History

Tennis sweaters, all white, men's button downs, messy blonde hair, no make up, aloof; Camilla Macaulay is every classicists fantasy: the ether space between the divine and the grotesque. Camilla is the modern Persephone, trapped in a love affair with a modern Pluto. While we all may hate Donna Tartt for her pretentious writing, we can't help but love her high-brow characters. So put on your chicest angelic tennis skirt and an oversized men's sweater and throw a pig's blood bacchanal.
