Demi Lovato sure as hell can sing. But the Disney Channel star's acting skills aren't so stellar. Despite her best efforts to hide an eating disorder and substance abuse problem, it was clear to those around her that the Disney darling was headed straight for Disney disaster.
In October 2010, after a super dramatic break-up with Joe Jonas and punching one of her back-up dancers in the face, the then 18-year-old entered a
treatment center to rehabilitate and avoid making the mistakes that would inevitably lead to her downfall.
Since then, Demi seems to be back on the right track, having spoken honestly about her experience in rehab and ongoing battle with body image issues. Her telling, heartfelt ballad "Skyscraper" is one of her most successful hit singles to date. Because she addressed her problems before they got out of control, Demi has become something of a role model for teen girls around the world.
